Messi in bacheca il quinto scudetto e la seconda Coppa Italia consecutivi, Giorgio Chiellini è pronto per l'avventura degli Europei 2016 con la Nazionale. “Lavoreremo insieme per fare il massimo – ha sottolineato il difensore della Juventus - e poi quando il mister sceglierà i 23, quel gruppo andrà sicuramente in Francia con grande umiltà per fare qualcosa di importante e incredibile”.
Gli Azzurri non sono dati tra i favoritissimi della competizione continentale, ma questo non sembra preoccupare Chiellini: “Anche altre volte siamo partiti in seconda fila, ma ciò che conta è avere una grande consapevolezza tanto dei propri pregi che dei propri difetti”. A cominciare dal match d'esordio col Belgio, anche se “la prima partita di un torneo non è mai decisiva”.
