Wesley Sneijder set to return at Inter Milan?
Former Inter President Massimo Moratti could take the Dutch midfielder back to Milan
Wesley Sneijder may soon reunite with his ex team Inter Milan.
As many local Italian medias are reporting these days, the former President Massimo Moratti is set to join the management of “Nerazzurri”’s club, which it was bought from the Chinese group of Suning last summer.
According to the website interdipendenza.net, Moratti would like to take back the Dutch midfielder in Milan and see him playing at San Siro once again.
Obviously, the 71-year-old entrepreneur hasn’t forgotten the magic 2010, when Sneijder - along Diego Milito, Samuel Eto’o and the ex-captain Javier Zanetti - took the Champion’s League back in Milan after 45 years.
Wesley - speaking with official television of Galatasaray, his current team, - hasn’t ruled out the chance to go back at Inter.
He said: “I’ve been in Turkey for several years. I’ve been very good here. But I will never forget the time I spent at Inter. I had the time of my life there and I also won a Champion’s League.”
At Inter, Wesley would find his compatriot Frank De Boer, who replaced the former manager of Manchester City, Roberto Mancini, in August.
