The Majorcan, who started from the first row, kicked off well at the beginning but then he slowly lost ground until the final fall that happened while he was in sixth place. The victory, in a race characterized by an obligatory change of bikes, went to Marc Marquez, who preceded Valentino Rossi and Daniel Pedrosa. In the world ranks now Jorge Lorenzo is fourth at 16-point difference from the current leader Marquez.
