PHILLIP ISLAND, JORGE "HIDES"

No domination, lots of pretactics. It is what emerges from the results of the MotoGP tests on Phillip Island, held last week in the Australian circuit. Jorge Lorenzo scored 9th, caring more about understanding the frame and tires (Michelin) of his Yamaha than about getting the best performance. The third session, on Friday 19th, was dominated by Marc Marquez, ahead of Viñales and Crutchlow

Soccer mourns one of the biggest champions of all times. Johan Cruijff died in Barcelona at 68 years old killed by a tumor in the lungs. The Dutch was an absolute phenomenon, prophet of "total football" of the 60s and the 70s.

MotoGP, season opening under the mark of Jorge Lorenzo

Jorge Lorenzo started the 2016 season like he finished the last one: winning. The Majorcan, starting from the pole position with his Yamaha, has actually won the Qatar Grand Prix preceding Andrea Dovizioso's Ducati, Marc Marquez's Honda and his teammate Valentino Rossi. Not an easy race for the current world champion, but the message for the competitors is pretty clear: he's still the man to beat.
