Jorge Lorenzo still doesn't know who his teammate will be in the Ducati pit-box of the 2017 season. What is true is that everyone is waiting for him with great expectations, starting with Andrea Iannone, one of the current pilots of the Italian team, who in this championship will put at stake the opportunity to be confirmed also for next year.
In an interview to Motorsport.com Iannone actually emphasized that "Ducati did well in hiring Lorenzo" and how next to him he could form a great team: "Jorge can conquer the MotoGP and I am also very fast and promising, but I have yet to win. This is why I believe that a team with Lorenzo and myself would be perfect, a young pilot and one who is able to win immediately."
