Less than a month the tournament that could give the "Azzurri" the direct access to the Olympic games in Rio. Il Gallo also aims to get all the support he can from the fans.
Rio is the only goal. Danilo Gallinari is approaching the pre-olympic game in Turin with just one goal in mind: leading the Italian team to Rio! He feels positive and he announces "I think we are well prepared and the guys in my team are all very determined. I have a very positive feeling about the qualification - playing in Italy gives us a strong competitive advantage, our people love us and will be there to support us on our way to Rio"
Danilo (here a recent picture he posted on Twitter with Marco Belinelli and Giuseppe Poeta) is most definitely one of leaders of the locker room. He knows that and he also knows the spotlights are on him 24/7 "Every team has its own hierarchies and in this team I have very strong responsibilities and the fans have very high expectations". Coming from NBA, Danilo knows that he has to bring all of his international experience on the table but he also knows he can count on the support of a very experienced coach "Everyone knows Ettore Messina (Italy's coach), both in Italy and in Europe. No one can question his ability to lead the team. With his leadership we can do very well at the games"
